Hi! Thanks for stumbling across my site, here you will find content on life, leadership, being the catalyst by stepping into your calling and resources for great relationships.
I have lived the majority of my life in Texas, and about 10 amazing defining years in Nashville, so that is where I proudly call home. Go visit, you’ll see! Growing up in a Christian home gave me a great foundation about who Jesus was, but like many, around my teen- college years I lost hope in the church and God. Thankfully, He is faithful and everything happens for a reason. After hearing an amazing message in 2010 by Priscilla Shirer, I knew my life needed to be different. I wanted to be the woman God had created me to be. It wasn’t until the months and years to follow that I realized the depth of His love, the consistency of His faithfulness and the great plans He has for us. Over the years I have often reflected back on that evening, listening to Priscilla and two things were planted that night in my heart: one, the important of the local church to be intentional, simple, action-oriented and welcoming. Second, the potential in being obedient to God and the call that He has on each of our lives. If Priscilla hadn’t taken small steps of obedience with most likely great trust and uncertainty, I don’t know where I would be. You and I have that same potential. Now having a daughter of my own, the passion to see every single woman to be known, empowered and equipped to lead in their community through their calling with courage has become one of my greatest passions.
“The local church is the hope of he world, and its future rests primarily in the hands of its leaders” -Bill Hybels
“Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created.” Esther 4:14
Lastly, as long as I can remember, I have been a hopeless romantic, curious of the formula to find “the one”, inquiring on “marriage advice” from the sweet elderly couples celebrating 60 years plus. After seeing couples separate, fight in toxic ways, I love learning the stories, tools & resources to fight well. To be on the same team while unpacking hurts, fears & frustrations safely. The ability to accept, respect and value your spouse, even after their flaws are openly known and what winning well looks like together. Thankfully I found my teammate, and while we have our struggles, challenges and conflicts, Chris and I genuinely learn and do our best to choose well together. We are enjoying the bumpy and unpredictable journey, making the best of it! He is also the most handsome Blackhawk pilot in the US Army, which makes life even better.
“I have found the one whom my soul loves.” Song of Solomon 3:4
